Oliver Peoples


Founded in 1987, Oliver Peoples began with the introduction of a retro-inspired eyewear collection created by renowned designer Larry Leight.

An optical company first and foremost, all eyewear is hand-crafted and assembled in Japan of the finest quality materials in colors exclusive to Oliver Peoples. Sunglasses are available in an array of lens options, including Polarized or Photo-chromic, and most can be fit with a prescription. Optical and sun eyewear are manufactured in limited quantity, while deliberate anti-logo labeling means being recognized only by those in the know.

In 1994 Oliver Peoples entered a licensing agreement with famed British clothing designer Sir Paul Smith to design Paul Smith Spectacles. The collection combines the whimsical yet classic designs and attention to detail synonymous with Sir Paul Smith with the experience and expertise of Oliver Peoples. Sophisticated yet edgy, Paul Smith Spectacles are crafted by hand of the highest quality materials available. At the heart of the collection is color. Using an unprecedented design perspective, Leight developed a multi-layer color lamination process that altered the direction of the eyewear industry and popularized a trend in plastic frames that remains true to this day.

Launched by Oliver Peoples Founder and Creative Director Larry Leight in 2005, Mosley Tribes fuses the design, knowledge and aesthetic of Oliver Peoples with visionaries from the active lifestyle and performance sports worlds. Mosley Tribes designs are modern interpretations of timeless classics that unite utility and style. The line is equipped with VFX lens technology that enhances visibility and protection, thereby offering the most environmentally functional lenses to fit specific customer needs based on light conditions and activities. The Mosley Tribes sunglass collection attracts individuals who appreciate the stylistic synergy between fashion and function.
